Hallador Energy announced the acquisition of approximately 460 MW of Siemens gas turbines and related equipment from Energy World Corporation for $350 million ($760/kW), with an additional $100 million in delivery and refurbishment costs. The equipment, which has never been fired, will support Hallador's proposed Merom natural gas generation project in MISO Zone 6, with revenue generation expected between late 2028 and mid-2029.
