IHS Towers To Go Private In $6.2 Billion MTN Buyout
IHS Holding Limited has agreed to be acquired by MTN Group Limited in an all-cash transaction valued at $6.2 billion, with shareholders receiving $8.50 per share. The deal, unanimously approved by IHS Towers' board, represents a 239% premium over the March 2024 strategic review announcement price and is expected to close in 2026 pending regulatory approvals.
