Why La-Z-Boy Stock Just Popped

La-Z-Boy stock surged 16.91% after beating Q4 earnings expectations with $1.26 EPS versus $0.82 expected, driven by a 40% surge in operating profit and improved margins from its shift toward retail sales. However, the analyst warns of caution as Q1 2027 guidance suggests adjusted operating margins could fall to 4-5.5%, less than half Q4's 9.9%, implying a steep profit decline ahead.
